Join us for the third of Virginia Women in Wine’s Leadership Series—a high-level roundtable designed for winery leaders focused on Driving Tasting Room Traffic and Customer Acquisition

With tasting room traffic being down for many wineries, having a strong strategy in place to bring in new customers is more important than ever, and the beginning of the year is a great time to lock yours into place. Join us for a candid roundtable conversation focused on practical, high-impact ways to increase tasting room traffic and bring new customers into your winery’s ecosystem. We’ll dig in to what’s working now—from digital strategies to local partnerships—and share actionable ideas you can put to use immediately.
Facilitated by winery sales and marketing pro, Erin Robertson, this interactive session invites participants to ask questions, share experiences, and learn what’s working — and what’s not — from each other when it come s to driving tasting room traffic and customer acquisition.
The event will begin with a 30-minute meet-and-greet, followed by a 90-minute discussion. You’ll walk way with new insights, actionable ideas, and connections with peers facing similar challenges.
Stick around afterward for an optional “continue the conversation” wine hour to deepen your industry connections.

Attendees must be the active manager of their winery who is directly involved with driving tasting room traffic and must be willing and prepared to speak to their own winery’s successes and challenges and ask questions about the topic in an open environment.

About Erin Robertson:
Erin Robertson and her husband own the independent Virginia wine brand Dogwood & Thistle Wine Company. She started in the wine industry after graduating from Virginia Tech in 2001, moving to New York City and working for the B.R. Guest restaurant group in Manhattan. She made her way out to California in 2008 after working in her home state of Virginia at a bottle shop and for a local distributor. After five years as the National Sales Manager at Laird Family Estate in Napa, and four years at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates as the Marketing Manager for their luxury California wineries – Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Conn Creek Napa Valley, and Patz & Hall, she became Director of Marketing at Round Pond Estate.
In late 2020 Erin joined her husband Sandy as a Partner at Hally Wine Company, where she works as a freelancer/consultant who helps small wineries all across the country achieve growth through their sales and marketing initiatives with specializations in wholesale, DTC, wine club management, ecommerce and digital marketing. Erin holds an Executive MBA in the Wine Industry from Sonoma State University, is a huge bookworm, and sometimes does karaoke against her better judgment.
