More than 35 wineries are part of the Weekend, which also features craft workshops, holiday shopping markets, Women in Wine events, festive wine flights & wine cocktails, and more.

Northern Virginia

Barrel Oak Winery (Nov. 2), Delaplane 

Join Barrel Oak Winery for an unforgettable evening, celebrating the incredible women who lead every part of the winery! From the vineyard to the glass, their all-female team—including Chef Hannah owner and chef of Farm Belly, our General Manager, Club Director and Sommelier—will bring you a multi-course farm-to-table dinner paired with their finest wines.

Fox Meadow Vineyards (Nov. 2-3), Linden

Fox Meadow Vineyards is hosting a special Culinary & Wine Education Experience the first weekend in November celebrating women in food and wine. Join Amanda Darvill, the owner of Fox Meadow Vineyards, as they feature several other female chefs, winemakers and business owners in Virginia. The menu includes six gourmet appetizers that include local cheeses, meats and other culinary delights to pair with six Fox Meadow wines. Guests will get to experience an indoor, seated tasting with specially selected food pairings to elevate your wine tasting experience. Reservations will be offered on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3 at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.

*Also, Special Event – Cider Takeover with Daring Wine & Cider Company at Fox Meadow (Nov. 2-3)

Stop in to taste Virginia ciders from a 100% woman-owned and made project from Southwest Virginia. Wine, Cider and food pairings will be available.

Good Spirit Farm (Nov. 1-3), Round Hill 

Good Spirit Farm is excited to participate in the first Virginia Women in Wine Weekend and will be featuring seasonal wine specials, music,  and holiday food and wine pairings.

Granite Heights Winery (Nov. 2-3), Warrenton

Granite Heights Winery is offering guests wine tastings, wine flights and a holiday cookie and wine pairing at the tasting room both Saturday and Sunday from 12-5 pm.  A tour of their production area will also be available for any interested participants.

Magnolia Vineyards (Nov. 1-3), Amissville

Join Magnolia Vineyards for a wine and small bite food pairing, with food provided by women-owned businesses. This will include four wines each paired with a small food bite. They will also kick-off their special mulled white wine offering.

Potomac Point Winery (Nov. 3), Stafford

Grab your girlfriends and head to Potomac Point Winery on Sunday, November 3rd for the ultimate ladies’ day out! Treat yourself to their seasonal wine cocktails, perfect for fall: from the cozy Apple Pie Sangria and rich Fall Red Sangria to the crisp Apple Cider Mimosa and vibrant Pomegranate & Blueberry Mimosa. And for those who prefer no alcohol, their Spiced Cranberry Mocktail has all the festive flavor! Pair these delicious drinks with a relaxing Sunday brunch in the bistro, surrounded by vineyard views and great company. It’s the perfect way to unwind, sip, and savor the season with your best gals!

Central Virginia

Elk Island Winery (Nov. 2-3) , Goochland

Wrap up in the flavors of fall with their small autumn dessert plate – featuring their seasonal Apple Pie Sangria, each dessert offering compliments this apple cinnamon sangria. Delicious bites of apple cider donuts, miniature apple pie bites with brown sugar crumble to just name a couple, this pairing is the perfect way to enjoy Women in Wine Weekend with your favorite girl friends November 2nd and 3rd!

Fifty-Third Winery & Vineyard (Nov. 3), Louisa

Fifty-Third Winery and Vineyard is delighted to present a unique Food & Wine Pairing Experience as part of the inaugural Women in Wine Holiday Kickoff Event, celebrating female winemakers, business owners, and industry professionals from across the state. Guests will enjoy a wine tasting paired with an elevated graze box curated by Kelly Lenhardt, owner of Sauce Catering. 

Oakencroft Farm and Winery (Nov. 1-3), Charlottesville

Check out Oakencroft Farm and Winery’s newly renovated tasting room for a specially curated wine and food pairing flight highlighting local, women wine makers and culinary producers. The flight will include: Rachel Stinson’s Rosé of Tannat, Joy Ting’s Amuse, and their very own Jess Trapeni’s Sparkling Rosé and 2021 Red Table Wine. Each pour will be paired with a small bite and can be enjoyed indoors or on the lakeside patio.

Valley Road Vineyards (Nov. 1-3), Afton 

During the first Women in Wine weekend, Valley Road Vineyards will feature perfect-for-the-holidays sparkling cocktails made with their Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine (previously unavailable to the general public!): Apple Cider Mimosas and Festive Cranberry Mimosas. They’ll also be offering helpful food and wine pairings for holiday menus. Get a tasting and find the perfect wine for your celebration!

Shenandoah Valley

The Winery at Kindred Pointe and Life is Hard Cider (Nov. 1-3), Mount Jackson 

Check out this beautiful 58 acre estate in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley and sip steaming mulled wine at The Pavilion or indulge in their seasonal small bites pairing at The 21+ Wine Tasting Room and Lounge at The Stables. Take advantage of their volume discount on wine purchases of three or more bottles, and browse their gift shop to become everyone’s favorite Santa this year.

Wolf Gap Vineyard and Winery in Edinburg, VA (Nov. 2-3), Edinburg 

Join Wolf Gap Vineyard and Winery and indulge in delectable food and wine pairings led by Cheyenne, a Level 2 WSET.  Enjoy a Wine and Cheese Pairing on Saturday and a Wine and Chocolate Pairing to close out the weekend on Sunday.
